My da braught me a knife and I think it is an african cercumcision or fertility knife. I have pics that I had to add a cencer bar to letme know what you think. Wasen sure if I could post them here without cencering them, im new to this.

Thank you Jeff, I can get the idea from what you have shown. I must admit I have not seen that type of knife before, but I would agree with your assessment of what it is. I am curious if any other member has some input on this knife. I do have one question, are you certain as to country of origin and have you any estimates on the age?

No I am not sure about the origin or age. The reason I think it may be african is the way the face of the man is carved it is very similar to other african carvings I have seen on the net and in nat. geo. mags.
