The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I picked up a Schmidt and Ziegler stockman at the gun show this weekend. I know very little about these knives. The scales are in bad shape but blades look fairly good. They were all rusted when I bought it and I am starting to clean it up. I didn't know what it was until the rust was buffed off. I paid $8 for it and a free knife sharpening for it and a worn out old Kabar. Any info you can give would be appreciated. Thanks

Hope this helps you a bit!
Thanks Steve!
I dont think Steve is right here. This one is a 5133 circa 1960's the older ones had a badge shield. These were imported by H. Willis Company, Louisville Ky.
Thanks Rod, nice catch!

Thanks for the help. This is the first one of these I have seen.
