Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I sure would appreciate some help identifying this knife and learning more about it. It belongs to a friend who is considering selling it, but neither of us know much about it.

From what I have been able to learn, it is a post-WWII stainless steel blade knife made by Anton Wingen Jr. It has a handle carved from an elk (?) horn and a leather sheath. What makes it unusual is the brass (? or maybe gold-coated ?) working on both the sheath and knife handle. I've seen pictures of similar knives on the Internet, but all those had stainless steel where this one has the brass (or gold?) work.

The knife with sheath is 10-1/2" long.

I can supply more pictures if necessary. Thanks!
