I tried a Jim Bowie whittler, in yellow comp, and felt I could have done better with something from China. The handles were mis-aligned, the coping blade was loose and the pen blade was so thin, I'd hate to even use it for opening mail. I'm sure that they are good, being Eye Brand and all, but that one turned me off real quick. Look around the site real good, something to hold your intrest on every page.

You say, "anything old." that 's right down my alley too. Gotta a particular fondness to old toenails though.
Thanks for joining our collector community. Got a lot of nice knife folks here of all ages and knife interests. Hope you will find a spot and jump right in.
Do check out two groups you might like- One is on American Cutlery History and the other is Vintage Knife Collectors. Got up to the main menu to Groups. Then you can find them.
