Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I have collected these 5 knives over a long period of time, and i have not been able to track down the origins of them.

They are all Schrade, Uncle Henry's, with a theme etched on each one. Does anyone know why they were struck, and for who. I searched far and wide, but have come up with zip. It has been suggested elsewhere that they might have something to do with NAHC.

I am hoping that some of you learned gentleman can help me get to the bottom of this mystery.

Tony.

Anthony-Congrats !! First time I have seen all 5 owned by one person !!-Wish I had a definite answer for you, but several informed Schrade collectors "think" they were probably a SFO for SMKW ,although all admit to an educated guess on the subject. Someone with an old collection of SMKW catalogs might be able to ascertain the truth. The rub is, there seems to be a bit of confusion as to when even the standard  Schrade 152 UH Wolverine was made- Different reputable sources differ greatly on the subject. Some say the Uncle Henry version appeared in 1982 and other sources say it was made from 1994-1998.I posed the question sometime back in this discussion here- http://iknifecollector.com/group/schradecollectors/forum/topics/tho...

You may want to try and contact IKC member Keith Jacobs- In the thread, he shows he has 4 of the 5, and may have some insight as to who they were sold by.Let us know what you find out.
