That's a nice looking Buck. I had one back in the day, the 1970s, when I first saw the lock-back at a sporting goods store here in Raleigh, NC. I don't have it now as when I was kid many things were traded and sold - stupidly...

Timothy not sure why but I kept pondering this "canoe" pattern over the past couple of days and it occurs to be the venerable Buck 112 is not 'too' far removed from that design. And I have been using one for years.

Pic from the web....

I really don't have a strong affinity for the Canoe knife but every once in a while one will catch my attention like this Kissing Crane. I personally like many pocket knives especially the muskrat, don't ask why maybe the shape... but I'm not a big fan of holstered knives,

Really Nice Timothy! I have just the one Canoe not a user as I have never personally figured out where they 'fit' in the scheme of things. Laurence Ruggiero had a lengthy appreciation piece on this forum discussing the design back in 2013.
