The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
That is fine looking blade Leo. I am also starting to get into the bushcraft knives. I may have to look into one of those in the future.
As I have just recently began to collect more fixed blades, I have some different uses. I have some smaller ones that I use for smaller tasks like carving, opening boxes, cutting rope, etc. I also have some larger ones that I use when camping. I find the longer blades useful when trying to cut up small pieces of wood, cutting up meat that I am cooking and anything else I need it for around the campsite. Here are a few of my different ones that get used frequently.
Nice knives Jeremy! That one in the middle picture looks a bit familiar to me.
This has to be my favorite fixed blade because it was custom made for me using antler from one of my deer kills. I called the deer Lefty because of his unusual antlers. So the knife came to be called Lefty too. You can read the story of Lefty here. The blade is 01 tool steel.

This custom hand forged knife from Don Carter Forge is one of my prized knives too. I won it in a contest right here on iKC.
The Colonial Bushcraft CE400 Defiant is a great knife too. Yes, I chopped that tree down with the knife. The tree was a measured 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the chopping point. The blade is 154 CM steel.
My Colonial Bushcraft CE100 Nemisis is a fine knife also. It is smaller than the CE 400 but is still a rugged knife that can handle a lot of chores. The steel in it is also 154 CM.
Another prized fixed blade that I have is this custom skinner by Canadian maker Bill Wiebe. It was given to me by a Canadian friend of mine. And yes he gave me two sheaths with it. He wasn't satisfied with the sheath the maker supplied so he made the bottom one himself.
Ah, nice, Dead left.. I think I see some Tops knives there !!!!!
