Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This was another impulse purchase -- but one I'd been thinking about for months. Feels more like a knife you'd find in nice a restaurant's kitchen, but since it was marketed as an outdoor knife I'm hoping it will actually perform well in that role. Can't wait to put this one through its paces too -- though I really think I'll keep the wood processing to a minimum.

Hey I just like the idea that while you were posting you were thinking you should be helping her!  Good work and I am waiting to hear how it does in the field

John, you're so incredibly right, & I was clearly not in the best frame of mind to be writing as much as I did that night.  My wife, formerly a curator of Oceanic art (among other regions under-represented in the States), taught me long ago that the countries of New Zealand & Australia are quite different -- & quite distant from each other.  "Kiwi" is in the name, & "New Zealand" is right there on the blade!!!!  ACH!

Okay, I'm going to take the dad excuse -- I was trying to get 9 photos posted & captions written when I posted this one, & my wife was trying to get our young kids to bed & I knew I should be helping her out, so I was actually operating under a bit of a time crunch here...  :)

That said, thank you, John, for pointing out that error, & I have now corrected it.

They look like good knives, not much to do with the Aussies though.

Sorry to be picky but it's rather like confusing the US and Canada or even worse England and Scotland.
