Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

A few of us have been clamoring about knifes that we would like to see. Johnny Two Shoes would like a peanut and a traditional whittler. I would like a scout/utility knife and a traditional whittler. What would you folks like GEC to make next? I'd like one of those spiral cut Red Buffalo Horn Whalers too while we are wishing for things (but that is an existing pattern). I was looking at some of the camp/scout/utility knives that I already have by Camillus, Ulster, Utica, Western (see my photos if interested) and it would seem to me that GEC could make one like these fairly easily (yeah it's easy for me to say) out of their current #53/#54 frame. It might be hard to incorporate the corkscrew that I wanted in our "Gone Camping" discussion in this frame but those folks at GEC work wonders! I have an older Boker Camp knife (see my pics) that has all of the bells and whistles but it doesn't really match any existing patterns and is a beast of it's own.

So what do you all think? I'd be interested in suggestions of new knives and also the scales that you'd like to see on them.

OK, the pics went into the ear, lets see what happens

i would love to see a five blade sowbelly,..or a 6 blade congress...either with old timey brown or "red" rogers handles,or some FAT STAG handles!    just dreaming! lol  but..i WOULD OWN ONE! if I could get my name on the waiting list LOL

Jeff,

OOOOO, I love the look of a sowbelly but you had me at the rogers style bone!

lol. I think we're not alone with the sowbelly either. the rogers jigging was the old style, i was looking for, but I'm sure they would look great with any kind of handle...imagine with some ivory, or abalone... "drooling"..lol

and..just to add... would'nt have to be 5 blade...a 3 would be nice too!

I would love a #73 slipjoint single blade in Elk or Primitive Bone or how about Black Linen Micarta. I would be all over them, I think.  Gary

Why not a large single clip point blade knife, finally.

I am still hoping the camp knife can become a reality.  I know ya'll have been asking for it for awhile.  Sometimes it is hard to remember this company is so young and has many patterns to get to.  I guess all in good time but I would love to see this come through

Jan, if we don't have a camp knife by July, I'll be begging for one at the rendezvous.

You'll see tears and I'll be on my knees, but please don't think any less of me.

Another though, I want a mellon tester.

Why you ask?

Not sure yet, I just want one.

I could find a decent use for one, somewhere, I think.

Somebody smack me!!!

GEC already made a Mellon tester. I have a couple of the #89s, but not the actual Tester knife.

I'll have to fix that.

Also, Peanut please.

I wonder if GEC is putting out a special knife for Fathers Day?
