Choices, Choices: How's one to decide?

I really need to know I'm not just crazy here.

But, I guess I feel like a lady with a closet full of shoes trying to decide which to wear (we men don't tend to have this "opportunity" cause most guys only have a few pair to choose from).
So, here's the deal- You wake up in the morning. Grab your standard stuff- money clip, iPhone, wallet, etc.....but what about that day's carry? How in the world do you decide which one to take for that day?

Help me out here, cause lately, like this morning- I changed my carry 3 x before I walked out the door. I went from my Strider RC to my Mantis Jyro and then changed again to my GE Stag toenail :) Like the difference between a hardcore working truck to a hyperdrive sports car and then to a classic collector car....but am I messed up..... Tell me I'm not crazy. There has to be some way to decide instead of my mood LOL and I really don't want to carry more than one either......

That is pretty funny, I find that even after I have picked my EDC. As we are walking out the door I ask My son Hunter, Do you have a knife in your pocket.. (hes 8) And enevetibily I watch as he goes through the same TOUGH dession picking his EDC! lol or he will pull out a HUGE tactical folder and we are on out way to church!~ lol and I have to make him change to a peanut!! lol
I never really thought about it much, but have to chuckle!! My EDC depends on the event or place Im going. And the pants Im wearing..lol I have 1 Knife I carry 8 out of 10 days and its a 8 inch liner lock with a drop point style aus8 Blade. Practical EDC in my opinion.. Its the 2 other days That are Tough! Do I go Dressy with a pearl folder?? Or do I go clasic with a stag stackman, or sould I go crazy with a small AUTO! LOL The desitions are tought!

I take more than one. My Case XX toenail to impress people and start a conversation, a little kiridashi or Opinel to open packages and cut my sandwich, and my Fallkniven S1 for larger packages. Take several — why make the choice so hard? Chicks have heels and sneakers, on foot or in bag.

Scott, you aint crazy......I feel your pain. The more knives I get the harder the choice is on a daily basis.

My wife gets onto me for standing in front of my knives just "looking" at em trying to decide which ones I'm gonna carry.

Crazy thing is the Larger one I choose keep in my sheath (or back pocket) plays a big role in the one I stick in my watch pocket of my front right pocket!

I always carry two and most times three. A big Lockback, a medium Toothpick Stag, gotta have some Stag on ya, it's real! then a knife that's not gonna scare people if you have to use it around non knife people.

One in each back pocket and then something for the front pocket.

I used to always carry two or three, Now I'm down to one (Case Peanut). But I think I'm going to go back to two and get either a Case Back Pocket or single blade Swayback.

Both good choices! That Backpocket is mighty nice ,I have a couple and the G-10 with that as ground blade is a thing of beauty to hold. I fight with myself over carrying knives like that! LOL The half stop is nice on that also since it snaps like a gator! and the shield on that G-10 Black is like the old shields of the 60's

I might have to get one of each and trade off! LOL I already have one Chestnut CV Swayback two blade and I LOVE it, but don't carry it. And I've been wanting a Back Pocket for a LOOONG time.

now that you mention it, Craig, I think my case peanut will have to be carried tomorrow..... and I'm thinking about the rough Rider armor hide for its companion......

I don't have to choose. My EDC is always a Case Mini Blackhorn and a Leatherman Micra. They handle all my everyday chores just fine.

I do have a backup EDC for the Blackhorn. It is a Case Caliber. It is very similar to the Blackhorn, but I like the feel of the Blackhorn better. I bought the Caliber after I lost the Blackhorn. I carried the Caliber for two weeks. But one day as I was walking back to my truck after deer hunting, I spotted my Blackhorn laying in the grass. I immediately put the Caliber up as a standby and started carrying the Blackhorn again.
