8 - 5pm - Open Forge – Try forging your own blade. Limited grinding available, safety requirements!
8 – 10am - Shop – Tong Forging: Box Jaw and Side Grab with Dereck Glaser, NESM Director
8 – 10am - Classroom – Knife Handle Construction with Christoph Deringer, MS
10 – 12 noon - Shop - Blade Forging with Lin Rhea, MS
10 – 12 noon - Classroom –Knife Design and Aesthetics with JD Smith, MS
12 – 1pm - Lunch – Anvil Café’ on site and is a la carte.
1 – 3pm - Shop - Blade Grinding with Lin Rhea, MS
1 – 3pm - Classroom – Filework with JD Smith, MS
3 – 5pm - Shop – Integral Blade Forging with Christoph Deringer, MS

8 – 10am - Classroom – Honing the Perfect Edge with Howard Schechter.
8 - 12 noon - Open Forge – Try forging your own blade. Limited grinding available, safety requirements!
10 – 12 noon - Shop –Axe Forging: Wrapped tomahawk and poled hatchet with Steve Ash.
10 – 12 noon - Classroom – Antique Handmade Knives: Show, tell and discussion with veteran collector Jim Brown.
12 noon – 1pm - Lunch – Anvil Café’ on site and is a la carte.
1 – 3pm - *Knife Show and Best of Show Competition “Hunting Knife”
3 – 5pm - *Auction with Masters of Ceremony JD Smith, MS and Mace Vitale, JS.
5 pm - Lobster Dinner - on site under the tent, price is still $20, and YES, you can have a
DOUBLE lobster for an additional $10 charge! You need to sign up and pay by contacting
Barbara Wechter at the event registration table on Friday before the noon deadline.
*Note: The Knife Show and Auction on Saturday afternoon are free/open to the public.
