Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

The time has come to start the discussion on the 2014 iKC knife.

I would again like to shoot for August/Sept delivery date.  Something to remember while we talk about this is that a short run of only 50 or so knives means we need to tie in with a maker that is already running a knife and tweak that one to make it our own.  The reason for this is most SFO's require a minimum order of 250 or more.  Also I would like to keep it less than $125.00 delivered to you.  I have some eyes checking out whats available at a factory or two but always love to hear your ideas.  Remember, this is YOUR knife

Here is a pic of the official annual knives we have done so far

I would like to see us stay with the Daniels Family too... they were there when we needed them and came through

Yes, Queen can make us another fine knife. I agree. Lets just pick the right one.

I'm with staying with the Daniels Family. I think it would be a nice Thank you for helping us out the last time but it still has to be the right knife.

Jan, You inspired me. i do some design work and I mocked this up.

Wharcliffe multi blade, winter bone handle, suggested IKC logo.

Love the group!

Luke

I don't agree with this sentiment at ALL. Yes, the Daniels family stepped up. But they did get paid remember? Handsomely if I do remember correctly. I don't feel that we as iKC owe them anything.

It is good... might suggest an oval shield spread out that iKC just a hair better.

and we had a whittler year before last ;(

We can always make it a different multi-blade pattern. Like a Stockman, Congress. Moose, Muskrat, or even a Canoe.

that does lokgood

Jess, love the mock up.  LOL, I am sending all my pieces to you to mock up next LOL

Steve I can do another with the oval logo np, I was using an existing round one thinking we might save on tooling costs if the logo was of the same shape as what they use already?

Anyway I wanted to do a scout with the Wharcliffe blade next because I haven't seen that before. I really like stockman too but my latest knives are congress, can't get enough congress! I have a Queen #31 two blade that has to be the sweetest carry I have had.

I'll try and post another one this evening.
