The 23 is one of my all time favorite GEC patterns and I've been dying for them to make them again. On top of that I just recently discovered their "Wodland Muslin" micarta which I think is one of the coolest handle finishes they've ever produced so there was no way I was passing up reserving a #23 in Woodland Micarta.

I usually pass on micarta knives .  I did put in a pre-order on the GEC#23LL Woodland micarta.  I am a sucker for single blade knives.  I want to buy ten #23 Trappers in all.  I'll have the money saved before the first #23 Trappers are released.

Haha I am also a sucker for single blades. If I had the extra $$$ I'd buy as many 23's as they'd allow... been dying for them to do them again.

Check out the new changes on the GEC#23 Trapper Tidioute two blade.  New etching on the main blade has been revealed .

Nice! I'm gonna have to go for one of the darker handles ones.

I lighter #23 with hound tooth shield drawing was a prototype sketch .  The better looking darker woodland micarta #23 Trapper with the badge shield is the knife that will be produced.  I wish GEC would produce 50% Beaver shields and 50%  hounds tooth shields on the Brazilian Cherry wood #23 Trapper knives.

New GEC#62 Orange Derlin knives are going out tomorrow and another batch of red/black micarta #62 pocket carvers.
