While the contest has been opened early, I must say I AM NOT IN! for one reason -- there are much bigger Case & traditional pattern fans here than am I. As much as I might be interested in the swag, I'd really like to ensure the knife goes to someone who wants it more.

But I have to share a Knives Live memory anyway! I discovered Knives Live TV when I started collecting knives, shortly after my first son was born. There were a lot of Tuesday evenings I spent watching Josh & Tony showing off knives with an adorable little infant sleeping on my chest. Of course I only appreciated those nights more as the years passed & he grew up -- he's a teenager now, so much more grown up, & quickly catching up to me in height!

THEN, just a couple weeks ago, SMKW had a 12 hour live streaming event that I just happened to stumble upon. To my shock & surprise, there was Josh Hill & Tony Watkins hosting the first 2+ hours of "The Return" (to Knives Live TV)! THAT was a throwback! I missed it Live but wish I had known it was coming, we could have had quite the throwback party! I will have to chew on Tony's ear a bit for that one
