My uncle brought these back from WW2. I can not find any makers marks or stamps on these. The handles are pot metal or aluminum.

Without markings it will be hard to say. Was he in the Pacific or Europe? That would give us all a little bit to go on. Plus, any close up detail shots of the pivot area may also provide info.

He was in the Pacific.

Well they are Balisong styles which were all fairly common in the pacific.  It is a Phillipine design I beleive.  I know when we lived there everyone had one

Brian, I would say these are from the Philippines, Butterfly or Bali song knives were very commonly sold to G.I.'s in that area by the locals...the handles are aluminum, and these appear to be of a higher quality than what is normally seen, good pieces... Thanks for posting...

Steve and Brian, I'm curious about the knife with the saw back and what appears to be gut hook tip. Would something like this be common or date form back around WWII?

I do not know Tobias. All I know is they where in my uncles affects with his medals and all the rest of his souvenirs from the war. All I have or know of my uncle is from his affects from the war. That is why I posted the pictures here. I was hoping for more info from you guys and girls on here!!!!
