Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Now to some exciting news.  For those of you that have just started the journey here with us, a tiny bit of background on our next custom being offered in our monthly contest/giveaway.

Don Carter Forge very rarely sells a knife.  It is a hobby he enjoys almost as much as giving a knife to a friend or a young person.  The past few years have been quite an adventure for me, watching him learn to take a small piece of tool steel and make it into a hand forged knife.  I always try to find something special as our Christmas giveaway and this year Don Carter has agreed to give away a knife made just for iKC.

As the 12th of December gets closer, watch here for the details and how you can be the owner of this knife, just by being online

Posted a question about Annual President Pipes Case XX knives in the Smoky Mountain Knife Works Memories Group :-)

Ok Jan, I just did my daily tweet to join us. If membership here doubles you have me to thank for it. lol

Replied, Tweeted & Googled!, Thanks Jan for the opportunity!

Day 3 Posted Here https://www.facebook.com/knifeaddict
Thanks again Jan & Don for the chance to get one of his knives

Groups here is still my only way, but in the interest of increasing awareness and spreading the love of knives I guess I'm going to have to go back to the hated facebook or twitter as well. :-)

Actually, Google groups / Google+ is probably a better place since I do look in there a bit more often.

So ... in the interest of reaching social media [or is that socialist media? :) ]  and promoting IKC - I created a Pinterest board and pinned the home page as well as the photo of Donnie's generous giveaway. I'll pin some other pics - like some of the really nice Alan Davis knives Dennis has been showing us

Good Morning Jan and All,

I just posted a comment on the "Tactical and Combat" knives group. I can see that we need more participation over there in that group....not many posts lately. My post contained a picture of one of the bayonets which I like to collect. I'm posting that picture here where it may get seen a bit more. I hope you don't mind. I will buy any 1941 Johnson bayonet which is reasonably priced.

Jan, posted a comment in Mario Rossetti's WWII Colonial Mark I Fighting Knife discussion.

Day 3. Posted a photo and reply in "Camillus has a great history" thread in "Box Full Of Knives" group. Already shared on my Facebook timeline.
