If money was no object for a rich uncle of yours and you could get any knife you wanted, what would you ask him for this Christmas?

Paul Chen - Tori XL Katana thats my pick

A Randall #3 w/ stag handle & my name etched on the 6" blade that I bought in 1969 for $37.  A burglar got it many years ago. I keep hoping I'll find in a flea market some day.

Miller Brothers bone handled, long pull, lockback folding hunter with etch.

I hear ya, Jim!  I did get me a MB metal toenail a few years back though :)

Although I already replied to this thread. I was thinking that a nice 3 blade whittler by Bill Ruple, Tony or Reese Bose or any of the amazing artisans would be really high on my list too.

Got one.   Beautiful knife and fantastic workmanship.

Merry Christmas all

Bill Ruple's fileworked Trapper in CPM154 just like the one featured on the cover of Blade magazine April 2008.

This is a very tough question! For me, perhaps a 12th century Japanese Katana. That said, since the question is "knife" and not the broader one of "blade", I'd probably go with RW Loveless Battle Knife. Or...if it was a folder, a full-on custom by E. Emerson.

Well no Peter it didn't help.  I went to HHH's ebay site and then had to clean the drool of my keyboard.  The offering that really grabbed me was the chef's set,(I'm a caterer and a  chef).  I would use them and would wear my Cold Steel Tanto to stab anyone else in the kitchen who touched them.

Just joking about the stabbing, but I would be very harsh on anyone touching them.
