Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This year iKnifeCollector is able to offer you a J.Mutz Custom.

Thanks to everyone that helped this decision happen.

Confirmed price is $112.00 plus shipping.

Payment is due no later than August 1, 2013

The body and bolsters are milled 416 the blade is 154CPM, with a 1/2 stop.  It is 3 5/8 closed and it is a Stag Cut Red Bone. Because this would be custom we could not order any more than 50 knives and his commitment is that he could deliver in September (maybe sooner but that a lot to get made in a short time).  There will be an iKC certificate with each knife signed by me.

45 of the 50 have been committed so there are only a few available.  Right now we will offer one per member.  For those of you wishing a second I have you on the list if there are still some available

I just had to share with you the warranty info on Jeff's page

It has a complete lifetime warranty on materials and craftsmanship. Any malfunction due to materials or craftsmanship under normal using conditions will be repaired for free. You can ship your product to the address found on this website but please contact us first so we know to watch for your returned item.

The "Catch" - Yes, sorry folks but we have a loophole to our warranty. The "lifetime" in "lifetime warranty" means Jeff's lifetime. Sorry but unfortunately when Jeff takes up residence at Boot Hill there will be no one to repair your product for free. Jeff's son Dylon is going to college and has no interest in continuing Jeff's business. But Jeff hopes to be able to warranty your products for many years to come!

.,.  Hey, he's human, and may need our support. If, we could just hear, the story.   ...

A-Yep,  that would be a good thing !

Dear Max, Dear Bob,

it is a pleasure to read you.

I hardly see anything to add to your comments, except this: Jan was right to expect that there would only be a little number of “grumblers” among us. I’m happy to see that we don’t react as dissatisfied customers, but as fellow members of a community. Luca once put emphasis on this fact: though there certainly is a lot of issues on which we wouldn’t agree - for example , I would never kill a squirrel or a bobcat ;= ) - we are bound by a strong sense of the collective.

Dear Jan, please, you mustn’t fear for your reputation. We greatly appreciate all that you do for iKC, and the way you manage this unpleasant situation.

I suggest that you send our commentaries to Jeff assuring him of our understanding and asking him to state clearly and without fear what happened, in order that we can find together the best solution in knowingly .

Personally, I have a request to Jan : when you have the knives (I'm confident that this will be resolved ) do not send me mine between November 15 and January 15, for in France it’s a time when many parcels actually "disappear " in transit : during Holiday periods or by work overload, La Poste employs contractors who are inexperienced, or rather well experienced in the art of looting. In other words... if the knives come in several staggered batches, let's serve the other subscribers first; I can wait.

Well I am hoping for Jeff to comment directly. Lets see if we hear anything today.

OH MANI FORGOT....i have someone holoding m,e a LUCA SUNNIE...THANX!!!!

...LOL....io seriously forgot till now!  @JEAN..THANX!!..memory is going...LOLOLOL!

JAN YOU ARE DOING GREAT!!!!

Jean, it is good to hear from you. You always speak with truth and education behind your words. We are lucky to belong to this group of knife collectors, that have become friends. This problem with this years club knife, will fix itself in some manner or other. I agree with you, that only a few of us are grumbling but that to, is human nature.

We are all different, from different parts of the world and different ethnic and cultural back grounds. I am a hunter and trapper and I know that differs from a lot of people, no mater what part of the world you are from. I trap for money to help support my family. I no longer trap animals for their fur. I only trap fish, turtle and alligators. I hunt and kill, wild game, because that's what I eat. I only shoot, the amount of game that we eat in a years time. I protect, support and, feed wild game, plus educate others about their conservation. I don't usually explain myself like this but because you are a friend and from so far away, I felt the urge to do so. Please visit more often, it is always good to hear from you.

Every day I read this discussion and become more and more convinced that one of the very best decisions in my life was to become involved here.  What ever the resolution, we do this the iKC way...like family!

You gonna bust out in song now? LOL

LOL, heck no!  a Knife Chat!

Kumbaya.....Come..buy..a ...............KNIFE.......lol

How many of you all are planning on using this knife?  I believe I will.

Paul, we will actually have 2 one to use

I will try my best not to use it,
