A knife goes around the world

A few Weeks ago iKnifeCollectors own Josh Wills won a knife. Too cool HuH? We all love a give away and being the winner is awesome. Josh had a generous and wonderful idea that we are going to follow and feature right here. As a matter of fact we would like your help.

Josh suggested turning this knife into a 'traveler'. He had the idea of passing the knife around to people that were interested in using it for a week or so and then sending it on to someone else that wanted to try it out. Along the way, you'd add your name and what part of the world you live in to a slip of paper that stays with the knife so there would be a bit of a diary / travelogue accompanying it.

Here's some basic rules to participate:

1) If you agree to take the knife as an 'adoptee', you agree to post a short note on the forum about where the knife is, how it's used and performed. We'd also REALLY like to see a photo(s).

2) You will also be responsible for paying the postage to send the knife to the next participant.
3) Understand, you'll have to share your contact info with the person shipping the knife to you so if that's a problem, don't sign up.

4) Forward the knife after about a week. We don't want it to end up sitting on someone's desk for a month.

Well there it is along with a bunch of tree blow down in the background!

Good Lord!  A 1/2 mile walk to check the mail? I would do it every other day too.

Maverick in the "Show me" state. Show me more.

I will take him out tomorrow and show him around. We have hay to put out and lots of chores to do! Time for him to take off his gamblin vest and put on some coveralls.

Maybe he needs to acclimate to country life. Show him the pigs.....start him out slow.

He may be a little dull. I am hesitant to sharpen other people's knives without permission.

He is quite bright actually and took to farm life rather well. As I said to day was a hay kind of day and I had the misfortune of splitting my hay tarp.(40MPH winds) so we had to cut a section out, cut off some of the tires, and then retie everything. His only problem....kind of covered in hay pieces!

OK we were up and at em at 0530 this am to check fence line. After the winds, we have some work today! Maverick was ready to go so after 1 or 2 pots of coffee we are off!

I didn't think he would have it easy with Hog, but at least he was well rested before he got there.

Well Maverick got his first taste of snow, I was so busy did not get a pic of him in the snow, but he did clean some battery terminals, hope to post pics tomorrow of him drying out by the fire!

Well snapped this one just before we were hit with a snow storm! The Maverick here found a semi-dry spot in the hay to relax and dry out!

kinda looks like a little snow on the ground there too , Hog.....or is that just ICE...lol

Well it started snowing last night and has not stopped yet! Pretty sure Maverick does not want to go out today!
