Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I have been intrigued by the KaBar Dogs Head, and can find out little about them. I have heard that KaBar Knives are extremely hard to date.

The old ones are very expensive $200-500 and up. Wonder why they are so expensive? Are they rare? Not many around? I seem to see them at shows wherever I go. I sure would like one.

The Dogs Head have been re-introduced - I think in the '70's-and the new ones are very nice. I visited the Cutco/Kabar Cutlery in Olean, NY recently and saw a few.

What do you know about the Dogs Head? Any pictures to post here?

Here is my only one dated I think 70's - maybe 1984 - I think it was a Club Knife.

Thanks guys. Yes Ron, that bottom one has really beautiful bone. I am still looking for a Rams Horn - I'll get one yet.

I know, old post but I just found it.

I also have a yellow handled stockman and a yellow handled barlow with the dogs head.

Oh Rome, that is one sweet knife. I love it. Show us pics of those other 2.

Rome, that's a real sweet knife you have there.

I am glad that you like it.  Here is a picture of the yellow hanldled stockman,

I am still looking for a picture of the barlow.  I may have to retake its photo.

Rome, what a great looking knife, I love those Dogs Heads

Well here is a picture of the barlow.  Its just a quick one i have not

even adjusted the photo yet.

smkw has the copper dogs head ,also.

Rome, awesome knife and box to. Thanks for showing it.

Thanks, but that is the last of my dogs heads kabars.

Great looking knife Rome.

AG. Russell has the copper dogs head also. Has anyone bought them and studied the quality of them? I heard that Kabar does not make them, someone else does. The jury is still out for me on those new copper heads.
