Ugh. No joy here.
I am making new ones to replace the ones on my Kershaw Vedder (2460), but I never had any interaction with a 1820 (Needs Work). I do like how the flipper tab on yours is 'hidden' when open though.
Bummer! I missed out on the Needs Work / 1820 when they were in production, really missed that boat because their current aftermarket prices are through the roof! I really like that wharncliffe blade; I hope you can find a set of scales somewhere -- that knife looked like it was just begging for a handle scale upgrade. Seriously wishing you luck, man.
Oh, & to Kevin: I heard direct from an employee at Kershaw that the Vedder was in fact named after Eddie Vedder, lead singer of Pearl Jam, because the designer was a fan (have I mentioned this before?). I just love knowing that (I actually met a couple of the members of Pearl Jam -- Stone Gossard & Jeff Ament, but not Eddie Vedder -- back in '94 I think it was, when Pearl Jam was in Minneapolis on the Lollapalooza 2 tour). I was a big fan of the Seattle sound back then; Eddie Vedder of course being the only member of that band NOT from Seattle... Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the conversation... ;P
