Well, Here we are, with Thanksgiving coming so late this year, all the sales are starting "early" -- aka, right on time, but before the official Black Friday.

Somehow I still have my job, looks like I might be able to push off my layoff until  early December.

However, we lost our cat early in the morning on Thursday to feline hyperthyroidism and the heart disease that often results.  She was 15, almost 16 -- she came to us at about 1 year old, and we decided her birthday would be November 30.  So it's been a tough week, and a tough couple months coming up to this.
