"Back from the Knife Expo in Pasadena, CA. Thanks to all the iKC members that came by to see me. I really enjoyed meeting you all."

The gentleman standing in this photo is Bob, the father of knifemaker Marcus Clinco. Bob had a seizure at the show on Sunday and was taken to the hospital. I don't know what his current status is but please say a prayer for him and his family. The Clinco family are great people and often donate their time to educate the knife community help the show run smoothly.

So sorry to get this news.  I pray that the best possible outcome occurs, and his family is comforted.

He and the family are also in our prayers

Jeff, is this Marcus in this picture:

Cheers, my friend!

Hey Ron. Yes, that is Marcus Clinco. He is a great guy and a good friend of mine.

Thanks, Jeff!

I was pretty sure it was him. Yeah, a great guy. I only spoke to him briefly on Saturday. I hope his dad is doing better. I'm sorry I missed getting over to see you on Saturday. I didn't get there until almost 5pm and was rushing to get some pics to post here. I guess I just got side-tracked?

Anyway, congratulations on making our iKC Club knives this year! I'm really looking forward to getting mine!

It's really a shame that I didn't get to talk to you. I used to live in Alta Loma, which, as you know, is part of Rancho Cucamonga. That whole area has just exploded since I lived there back in '79 to '89. My house was right around 19th and Carnelian. When I go out to Bass Pro I barely recognize that area, anymore. I've been back in the San Gabriel Valley, living in the little town of Sierra Madre, for the last 20 plus years. This is where I grew up.

I hope you'll keep us posted on Marcus' dad. They're both definitely in my thoughts and prayers.

Cheers, my friend!
