Custom maker John Howser passed away last night, he had been ill.

Mr. Howser sold his first knife in 1974. His specialties were slipjoint folders of older patterned multi-blades; lockbacks; hunters; and, fillet knives.

As a knifemaker he will be missed. As a good man, his life will be celebrated and his passing mourned.

Our prayers are with the family and friends of this great man
