I like it Jack! Nothing better than a boy and a dog!
So true, I grew up with an old dog named Spot and he ate before me...lol
Nothing fattens a dog up like kids!!!!
Those pictures are straight out of a Rockwell painting. (Not to be confused with a Rockwell hardness)
Great picture!
Actually they are paintings I painted. Had a heck of a time getting the subjects to hold still. lol

You know this was about my grandson but I want to give some credit to our two dogs. They will sit there waiting for you to give them a bite but NEVER try to take something from your plate. But believe me, they have that "starving doggie face" down cold. :) Below is my dog Tasha and also one of her and a friend.

Tasha must've ditched school the day they were teaching that dogs are supposed to hate cats?
Here's a pencil sketch version of Sawyer and your grandson...
You're killing me with all this cuteness -- Keep 'em coming, I'm one of the old pharts who loves this stuff!
***(I hope ya don't mind me tinkerin' with your photo like I did -- I couldn't resist!)
Ron, Sawyer is just as bad (or good?) with the cats. Wife has 3 or 4 in the house and about 8 more on the back porch. Then we have a screened (chicken wire) area they can run around in outside. They access that through an open window on the porch. We have a problem. Living in the country (more or less) people just drop cats off and they find their way to our yard. I don't know how many cats we have had to get fixed in the past few years. Not getting them fixed would mean more cats of course. I don't know why we say "fixed". That would indicate they are "broken" naturally. :) Not to mention the flea drops it takes to keep the fleas out of the picture. Did I forget food? If Jackson (grandson) wouldn't feed the dogs so much maybe THEY would take care of the cat problem. lol
That's really cool what you did with the picture. You are definately the fastest pencil in the um.. er... anywhere! lol

Jack,
Is Tasha an "Australian Cattle Dog?" In your picture that's what she looks like. And, I absolutely love that pic of her with the kitten. Priceless!
Cheers, my friend!
Dogs and kids...overdose of cute! LOL...nice pics!
Tasha's mother is a pitt bull and the father is a mutt (part chow I think). I'm not really sure bacause wife handed her to me 7 years ago and said "here". lol She's right on the ball when new people come in the house though. She will either lick them to death or knock them down with her wagging tail. lol When we got Sawyer (Great Pyraneese) he was full grown. One lick and Jackson't entire face was washed sending him running away wiping his face off. LOL Wish I had pictures of THAT.
Tasha likes to play with the kittens but they act like "dang, here comes that big dumb dog again". :)
