Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Welcome to National Knife Day!

it is the perfect day to start a give away of Knife Mag. This contest runs through to 27th @ midnight Eastern.

The contest is going to be simple, share either knife mag web page or iKC with any social network or email it to all your friends. If you email it include me so I can see it.

Want 2 entries????...promote both iKC AND Knife Magazine!

Bah! Us Canadians get the shaft again! LOL. Good luck to those that enter.

Posted on my FB Timeline, here is my post:

"Rather than speculate on what is or is not going to happen in Big Sur, here is my kind of diversion. As a bonafide knife collector I celebrate National Knife Day. Here is Knife Magazine's site: http://www.knifeworld.com/knifemagazine.html, and here is my favorite knife forum IKC: http://iknifecollector.com/. I must mention that the folks at IKC are true friends of mine, if you want to know what is happening in the knife world that is the online place to be."

Does that count as promoting both?

The mention of Big Sur refers to our ongoing struggles with wildfire and later storm damage sustained in 2016. Hwy 1 is still closed on both the southern and northern ends of Big Sur, so access to that area is only possible via one of the worst little narrow/windy mountain roads anywhere. I help run a small community center up there at the small K-12 public school located there, (11 students total this year), so my posts are read by many, that's why I had to remind them first that this time I wasn't commenting on local matters.

I'm one of the fortunate ones, I live 30 miles south of the monumental slide at Mud Creek, (which has closed Hwy 1 there indefinitely), so I have easy access to the "real world". Not so my constituents up on the hill, they are dealing with enormous difficulties so keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

BTW: Did I win yet??

Manx - if you get the shaft, the best thing you can do is put it in a forge, hammer it out and make a knife!

:-)

Done. iKC on Facebook & Twitter.

Right you are, Allan!

All righty then,  IKC and Knife Magazine posted on twitter and face book. HAPPY KNIFE DAY TO EVERYONE !

And since I am a 'Knife World Ambassador' (Life Member) I will, if i win, donate back to iKC.

You the best Craig!
