Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

As always, first I want to thank TSA knives for the opportunity to give one of these away to a member here at iKC!

see the full size pic here

As fall sets in, I love to see how folks appreciate it.  I think it is appropriate for this knife based on the story of how they came about and how the handle materials were chosen...so here is your mission, should you choose to accept it.

1) take a photo showing fall in your area, or wherever you happen to be

2) there MUST be a knife in the pic

3) extra ticket if iKC is in your pic

4) extra ticket if you carve a pumpkin for us

5) all entries must be posted in this discussion

The contest runs until October 31, 2015 at the witching hour (midnight eastern time)

Enter as often as you would like and HAVE SOME FUN!!!

Hi Everyone

One of my favorites "carry's" - a classic Ulster bone handled jack knife I refurbished years ago.  Still takes a nice edge...

WE had a nice walk in the heart of Chicago today with my Third Gen Schrade...

I'll keep posting my views of this knife from our walk in a 20 acre new park in Chicago..

A bit clearer shot, I love this tree for showing the knife off... Only Thing was I dint want it to fall in !

Close up. Still hasn't fallen in... and I got lucky there was some of that Spider web stuff kids like stuck to the tree!

Now if you need to see the leaf, here it is, Stuck! :-)

This red leaf fell just as I snapped the pic.

Hated laying it in the dirt, but hey thats what their good for. I remember throwing my childhood knife at trees all the time, like I was Daniel Boone with a stockman... and cleaning in the creek gravel after cookouts.

By this time my wife Esther wanted to get in on the act. She setup and and took this shot, then handed back the knife asking how do I close it.. :-P

Luke,

That Schrade sure had a good outing today!.  Please tell me you taught your wife how to close it.  My Fav??

Ha ha, Jan, She reluctantly pressed the back of the blade to her jeans as I showed her and it snapped happily back to "pocket mode." She handed it back to me like someone who now knew some important national secret!  :-)

I will tell you how fall looks like over here!! Its green winter is green too na dsummer yellow to red!!
