Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Lately the government has been pissing us all off... with the recession, and political leaders taking away or rights that are in the bill of rights and constitution, like the bill that MIGHT be passed to make it illegal to have assisted opening knives and certain guns... and in the bill of rights it says we have the right to bare arms and it doesn't say we cant bare any particular arms... so why the partial ban on a right we've had since the beginning of the America???

and for the recession we all know how is to blame for that one... and to tell you the truth i could care less who's in office as long as the the bill of rights and the constitution stand with out infringements and bull s***... also the free-ness of this country must always stand...

I see no improvement from when bush was in office and now.... nothings happened... there worrying about people carrying cool knives and not how our economy is crap...

I say we start fresh and get every one out of the government and send them to some island no ones ever heard of and let the TRUE Americans run this country... now dose any one have a plane???lol

I dont have one (im 17 i cant buy a gun...) buts on the to get list along with a glock 17, and and ar15 (or something that looks like it)... oh and a .50 sniper rifle (ya im going hunting for deer and moose and bear...lol)
too bad you don't live in Austria, your legal to buy a handgun at 17. you just can't carry it,lol

actually Austria is a pretty fair country as far as weapons are concerned. It's no proper United States, but then again what is?

btw do you have your heart set on a Glock 17? because you should know that options out there are just as good if not better for a lot better price.

CZ 75 jumps immediately to my mind as one of those options. I've put around 30,000 through the one I own with not a hiccup, although it does have a preference for 147 grain ammunition. that shouldn't be considered a deal breaker for $300 less than the Glock 17
whats the seance of buying one if you cant carry it???

the glock can go through 1,000,000+ without cleaning and not have a misfire... kinda like the ak-47 of hand guns... did you know in the middle east they use a shoe string with knots in it dipped in used motor oil to clean the barrel of there ak-47... i googled it and it looks nice ive never heard of that company but il give it a werl when i got the $$$ and age all set and ready to go... also looking at a 1911 or a usp...
you can still use it for home and business protection.

True glock is a great gun, but you need to be careful about their exuberance marketing hype as they do the best job of anyone in the industry of inflating their claims.

You need to clean your gun every time you shoot no exceptions, not trying to be condescending I'm sure you Already know this.

I've known friends who have purchased glocks under the assumption that they're never going to have to clean it because it can go 1,000,000 rounds Without cleaning so they think they never have to clean it, because they'll never use that much ammo.

when I see that their guns malfunctioned on them, all I can do is LOL and shake my head.

If your looking for a 1911, you can't go wrong with the Taurus Springfield or Smith/Wesson versions, I personally would stay away from Sig an Kimber, they are overpriced. And I always see a ton of them in the used gun display cases, full of their 1911 in my area.

usp's are ok, I've had two of them, 9 and a 40, I traded them away for a Beretta PX4 and a FNP which are both superior guns to the USP imo.

Thanks for indulging an old blowhard in his rambling I just loves my guns almost as much as I loves my knives.
Been thinking about that very item. My eyes aren't as good as they were when I was with the Department and had to qualify each year. My night vision is still good though.
Crimson trace is a great product, you can't go wrong with them, they are easy to clean hold their poa and work instinctively.

I will admit they're not very effective outside in the day time, but indoors, they work very well.
Have you seen wanted the movie??? I like that 1911, looks great, but if i were to buy it i probly couldnt get my self to use it its sooo nice...lol
yep,nice
im not sure how we got talkin about fire arms... but il roll with it...
well if you want to keep rolling in that direction friend . Come have a look at my thread regarding the expansion of weapons that can be carried under concealed carry.
