Been thinking some of Pearl Handles lately and alot of questions come to mind

How are they made? Are there different types? What about the Smokey Pearl?

How about some pics of Pearl handled knives. I'll post some next week.

Sue, you certainly have some beautiful examples of pearl handled knives. And, I would agree with you -- that picture with the comb, the knife and the pillbox is extraordinary!

This is an old Wusthof Solingen multi-tool.

 

 

 

This is a pearl handled fighter that Larry did for his last inspection knife for the Knifemaker's Guild.  Yes you are seeing right, it is stainless and yes he can do a beautiful stainless knife, he just prefers Damascus!
