The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Glad I don't have one..Thanks for the warning Robert.
I have one, well I should say my grand daughter had one. It's now broke in two, with her using it. a 100# girl.
What is the problem with them? A tempering problem?
Craig, I'm not sure, I will find out more and post it. If anyone has more info pleased, let us know. A dangerous situation exist.
I am not trying to hurt Gerber or Bear Gryills. I just don't want anyone hurt by a bad production knife.
Gerber makes great knives. Problems can happen to any knife company......and do. It's good to know when there is a problem, especially if it could hurt someone.
Yes, I certainly am not trying to hurt their business. There may be a lot of little people depending on their parents pay checks. If there's a problem lets deal with it and move on. Ford, Chevy and all the other car manufacturers have recalls, it will happen.
Thanks for the head's up Robert!! Forewarned is forearmed.
Didn't they already recall a previous batch of that blade? I seem to remember a similar message about a year ago.
I think there is 3 different models that are in recall. That may be all models of the Parang.
