Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hi, I am a new member and I would like to know if we are allowed to sell a knife collection? I would really appreciate an answer. Thank you so much;

Respectfully,

I'm not a moderator but selling knives is allowed here...as a collector I'm interested in seeing what you have for sale. I just listed 39 knives.

Doris, you can post your collection HERE and the rules for sales and such are posted on our front page.

Welcome!

Hi Doug thank you so much for the email.

.
This is a Buck knife collection. The collection belongs to my brother who many years ago worked for Buck knives
in the late 1970's thru the mid 1980's. All the main knife pieces have "never" been used; they are in "mint" condition!
There are 34 Buck knives; and one custom made knife with the collector's name on it(not Buck),
and one knife with the German Swatiska emblem on it(not Buck)
Of the 34 Buck Knives, 17 are "custom" or "limited edition".
In my world as a radio talk show host, with their own show, I am used to doing research on our show subjects.
I have taken this Buck knife project seriously and have done a lot of research and have learned a lot about this world.
One thing is for sure, this is an amazing collection and in my research, I have not seen anything close to what this
collection has to offer...
There are no boxes, cases or paperwork; we did find a catalog from that era, which was the late 1970's and early 1980's.
My brother did not want to sell this collection, but the family is in need of funds to help pay our mother's house
mortgage...We are anxious to sell the collection but we are not going to give it away either.
I have done some intensive price searches and have an intelligent guesstimate of what the collection might be worth...
We are totally open to reasonable offers for sure!
If you would like to speak to me on the phone, I am available any time for a chat:)

Respectfully,

Very nice collection.  You may want to consider selling individual pieces and/ or smaller groups of knives.  Its more work, but you usually get a higher return on your efforts.  I see some very interesting pieces there.  Best of luck!

Thank you Bryan for your comment. Probably will end up breaking the collection up. Still analyzing...
