very cool contest, I'm actually running one on another website as well, didn't know it was an established idea here! didn't mean to steal it sorry :)

If anyone wants to join in that one was well you're more then welcome, here was my entry ( also carved a JK makers mark into the back for fun as well :p) :)

Hope it's not against the rules, it's just another chance to win a free knife so thought it might be okay to mention?

Big Red threw his first annual Halloween Party last night, and fun was had by all.  Lots of knives were available to try out, treats were plentiful and the baby pumpkins (bumpkins we like to call them, and yes, they are from the country) had a blast.  Some of the knives included a Canal Street muskrat, a Case toothpick and a Moore Maker sowbelly whittler.  The muskrat was declared the best handling knife by far while the toothpick excelled in the tight corners and the whittler made short work of the heavy cutting.  The activities were so intense and rapid paced, the experienced staff were worn to the bone by party's end.  Next in the news, reports of a massacre in the pumpkin patch..............

Peter,

Your just fine.  We all know the other sites are there and enjoy them all.  Thanks for sharing and entering ours also!

Rusty,

Big Red hosted one very nice pumpkin carving evening.  The choice of knives available is fantastic.  Good to know which ones performed the duties best.  A Pumpkin Massacre?  Who would do such a thing?
