Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I was at a knife show and met a guy who had bought some of the old parts from camillus when it shut down. I ended up getting 5 unfinished paratrooper knives, a cold steel arc angel (they were made by camillus, and a mystery balisong. It would seem to me that it was being made by camillus but I am unable to find another balisong that was made by them. While it has an unground blade The square 3 hole pocket clip may indicate what it was going to be, although my searches didn't bring up anything. The handles are a very heavy milled stainless steel. 5 inch handle and edge would be 3 3/4 inches

The mystery balisong is on the left in this picture and the arc angel on the right. Although I am trying to find out if someplace sells replacement latches that will fit either of them.

Adam- Hopefully one answer to your questions & still searching for others- The only web site for replacement balisong parts I can find is here-http://www.butterflyknifekits.com/   They have replacements for certain sizes of latches, etc. In addition, if you dig around the site a little, they can machine parts for you if their standard inventory won't work. Still working on your mystery balisong identification-It is kind of close to an old Cold Steel Paradox or an older Benchmade, but that 3 holed pocket clip is not right for either-- Still looking for an exact match.

I was able to find a pivot for the cold steel arc angel http://usaknifemaker.com/pivot-barrel-3-16-x-3-8-for-folders.html but haven't found the latch yet. Maybe I can find it on that site. The 3 holed pocket clip is difficult to find, it seems like a very quality channel constructed balisong but no info can be found :( Thanks for looking!
