Most everyone knows what blade rub is.   What is the technical term for when a blade crosses paths with another blade and either fails to close or closes on the wrong side of the other blade?

A mess...?

I hate to say I may have heard it but I dont know.  So I am going with JJ's answer

I know I hate it. One of the reasons I prefer 1 and 2 bladed knives.

Its broke

I believe it is called...Cross dresser...lol

Okay, I've been going through my notes and I'm about 90% sure the term is drift or blade drift.  It normally happens when the blade is properly pinned (too loose or too tight) or the frame is bent.

It can occur on one and two blade knives such as toothpicks, peanuts and trappers. When it does, an unbent blade actually makes contact with the side of the liners and gets hung up.
