That's a GOOD looking Camp Knife Smiling-Knife!!
Hey, wait a second......a Boker Camp Knife in beer barrel handles?! I don't remember seeing the Camp Knife in beer barrel handles! Hmmm.....oh, okay....I just looked it up. It's made exclusively for Orvis.
Never heard of Orvis.
"Orvis is a family-owned retail and mail-order business specializing in high-end fly fishing, hunting and sporting goods. Founded in Manchester, Vermont in 1856 by Charles F. Orvis to sell fishing tackle, it is the oldest mail-order retailer in the United States."
Now I know.
Too bad you can't get a German made Congress, they're beauties! A lot of guys like the Rosewood "Carver´s Congress Whittler" for......well, carving.

Thank you Craig! They both are mede in USA, I have seen this pattern made by Boker in Solingen, but those knives is hard to get. I decided that I will ship it back for refund, because problem with backsprings can't be resolved by oiling the joints. Backsprings are week and some of the blades almost don't have a good loud snap like my oldest have. My oldy hits like a crazy! In first day's, I cut my finger three times on closing! But the newer one only one blade have a snap closer to oldy. Unfortunately I will send it back :(
Craig Henry said:Well Ivars, I remember back in the Boker Wiss days the Boker-USAs were always thought of as a step or two (or three or four) below the German made Bokers. They were good serviceable knives and one cold always find a nice one, but not up to the German ones. The quality always seemed to vary widely under J. Wiss & Sons. I remember seeing ones that boardered on junk and others that were really nice. Wiss never seemed to be interested in serious Boker knife marketing.....or making.
Hi Craig. Thanks for your post. This is the Winzermesser. It has fewer attachments than the camp/scout model. There is no smaller blade, can opener or punch. The scales are from old wine barrels. They also make this model with Olive wood scales. Cheers.
Oh, okay, cool! Wine barrels huh? They look just like the beer barrel handles! I guess the barrels/wood is about the same?

I know what you mean. I always feel like I should buy one knife for using and one for collecting! I'm trying to get away from that.
Can't find a German made Boker Olde Stag? I saw one listed "in stock" somewhere. I'll keep an eye out for you.

I love Rosewood carver too, and no problem to get it, of course the problem is the price of it and you know, I don't like unusefull display knives, so then I need two of those, one for collection, second for carving, but it cost near 140$ and thats too much for one day purchase :) Now I don't know what I will do with iKC 2012 knife, I cant buy two of them, they are extra expensive and I don't like knives wgich I cant use and carry, because than it losts collectors value, so thats a big problem for me!
About hard to get. Hard to get Boker Olde Stag congress made by BOKER SOLINGEN in the end of 90's and begining of 2000's. Nothing on ebay, nothing in other stores. One online store were offering them, but now more than a year there is writen OUT OF ORDER or sometging like that. Other Boker congreses is easy to get, they almost all are on ebay, just some rare patterns is harder to get. Now I'm waiting for Boker Pony express limited edition congress knife, almost a month is ower, but I hadn't recieve it jet, so I will contact with seller to know whats happening. Okay guy's! Have a nice weekend last free day, spend it with your family's!

Hey Ivars, just for your information, here's the site!

Maybe they'll still have it when you can afford it. I think they've shown it for a while now.
Ivars, I looked on A.G. Russell's site for you. He doesn't have one. Just the Carver Congress , Beer Barrel, Appaloosa, and Double Tree.
Ivars, you found two really nice knives there! I have a Wiss/Boker LTD edition just like the one in the first picture and it is one of my favorites. That six blade congress knife with stepped bolsters is a CLASSIC! It has every blade style you'd ever need!
