Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I know that on the base of the blade of the Buck 110 their are symbols, or markings that are different. Some have two dots. Some have an arrow. Some have lines. I know they have to do with the year they where made, but how do I know what symbol is from what year? do some symbols mean the knife is from the custom shop, or are limited runs?  How do I find this out? Does anyone have a chart I can copy? Are some worth more than others?

This buck knife I customized has an arrow pointing to the right. What does that mean to me?

Freddy, The arrow pointing to the right was manufactured in 2009.  Nice job on the bolster, can we see a photo of the rest of the knife?

Here are a couple of attachments for you.  The jpg is a picture of the date stamps used by Buck from 1986 to the present, and the ones they will be using through 2022, courtesy of the Buck Collectors Club.

The second attachment, the pdf, was put together by Joe Houser, from Buck Inc.  It shows the variations the 110 went through from 1964 - 1980.  In 1980 there were 3 dots on the blade, and from 1981 - 1986, 4 dots.  This is rough info, anyone and everyone is welcome to correct me.  Mike

There is a chart of Buck Tang Stamp Date Codes, Past, Present, and Future, at Buck's website.
