Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Wonder what would happen if you sent one in to have some repair work done. I only have 4 of them and 2 of them are pretty rare.
I have decided to focus on collecting case but that does not mean that I'm going to get rid of my Keen Kutter collection. I'm Just wondering if the case classics fit in with the other case knives that I have.

I'd say, yes they do fit.

Just tell your wife she has to sleep in a pup tent in the back yard. There ARE priorities you know.

CASE KNIVES IS AWESOME!! ..their customer service is the best in the biz IMO!

i started to write out the history and then remembered this. hope this helps.{and saved me sometime...LOL}

i do know off the tope of my head that a few of the knves were not actually made by CASE themsleves but by BLUE GRASS... i just know that the CASE CLASSIC and CASE collecors bump heads on this very subject sometimes..

hence the different clubs for differet knives... most CLUBS that are about ALL THAT IS SHARP ..will have a CASE forum and a seperate CASE CLASSIC forum..personally i like the break up as i already have trouble keeping up wit allo CASE does...LOL!

also IMO.. since i see alot of fake CASE CLASSIC but they have REAL STAMPS..my guess is someone has the tooling.

JAN this is something that hits home and i also agree... hence why i have some knives that are broke and i keep them that way...LOL!  edit- in some cases though if i was not attached to knife..and it was factory error..i8 guess instead of a fixed seocns knife i would prefer just a new one...but if attached at all forget it...

I am just glad they are willing to just send them back as is if they can not fix it, some wont.  They just reserve the right to send you a new knife

I know I 'm late in responding,but here goes.The first 3 issues,62100 Saddlehorn,6488 Big Congress,& 6394 Gunnboat were made at the Case factory.Due to huge backorders. they were licensed by Case to continue the Case Classic line to Blue Grass Cutlery, who had managed to salvage most of the old cutlery tools and dies They were still 100% USA made with very high standards of craftmanship.Jim Parker, had a string of retail knife outlets, which went belly up and forced him into bankruptcy and selling Case. Part of the stink about that was,in order to pay back 100 cents on the dollar, Jim sold the Case knife museum of knives to SMKW. At the time, That enraged Case fans and caused a huge feeling of ill will.To my knowledge, Case later bought back the collection, valued at millions.I dealt with Jim and his son Buzz back in the day, and found them to be nothing other than square shooters.BTW, it is nothing new to license knives to other knife companies. I would hate to guess how many different names Camillus manufactured for. I am proud of my "Classics" and value them the same as I do the ones made in the Case factory-Just my 2 cents !!
