The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I was just on the Case company web site. You can register your Case knives with them. Does anyone do this? Is there any advantage to doing it. From their site I got the impression that they just use your information for their own research.

I'm a member of the CCC and I don't see any advantage of registering my knives so I never have.

I have a total of five Case knives. Three of them are in my collection unused. Two are users. I will probably add one or two Case knives a year to my collection. Would it be worthwhile for me to join the CCC?

I also am a member of the Case Collectors Club and this is the first I've noticed this, I do believe after checking into it its for Case to draw in new people and find out some info on you and maybe send you info about them.
Seems like a marketing strategy to know more about who is buying knives.
Charles if you plan on buying more Case knives it wouldn't hurt to join. You can get a one year membership and try it out and if it's not for you don't renew. As a member you get the club magazine 4 times a year plus special offerings four times a year. and the annual club knives are usually pretty nice. Then there is the Case Forum with over 1800 members where we trade ideas and information on Case knives and history. There are a lot of knowledgeable people who can answer almostr any question you may have about Case knives.
