Posted in general knife discussions, have a CASE XX folder nobody around here seems to be able to identify.  I pride myself on my internet research, but days and days of searching has turned up nothing.  One possible is a promotional knife but...??? here is a pic.  Too short for a slimline. typical 1992 date

Looks to be a mini trapper.  They did series with those handles back in the 90's.  There should be a stamp on the back of the tang with numbers on it.....not sure of the first number but it the other numbers will be 107.  Unless it's a full sized trapper, in that case the last 2 numbers will be 54.

I would compare these to the "lite" line that Buck does on their knives.

Thanks for the reply.  That's my problem, reverse side of tang is blank. knife is only just a hair over 3 1/2 inches.  A slim line trapper to which bears a minor resemblance is typically 4 1/8 inches. And usually Trappers have a bolster up front and sometimes at rear. I definitely has a trapper style blade. see my album for more pictures please.

Thanks again, Ron

I'd say it's definitely an '07 pattern mini trapper at that length.  The series I'm referring to had no bolsters at all.  Not sure why no pattern stamp, but that's not a huge deal either.  Here's a description of the '07 pattern.
