So what's your latest Case Adventure? Today I went out with my son for his 19th birthday. We hit a couple of antique places and came out with a couple of Case Doctors knives and some display cases, not "case" but neat none the less..

Here's a shot of the doctors knives..His has the flag shield with gray bone and mine is a smooth natural bone 2 blade.

Nice addition Andy!

Andy,

Actually it is a pretty good story!  It tells of a father and son collecting together and I like that very much!  That is one nice scout also!!!

Thanks Jan and Craig.  You're right Jan, if it hadn't been for my son's passion for knife collecting at age 14 I probably wouldn't have fallen so hard for them.  I do enjoy the relationship we have when on the hunt....it just kind of stinks some times when he beats me to one...LOL

My son and I at a Case collectors gathering back in March.

Spent most of Fathers Day with my oldest son.  We got up to go to a flea market but the weather decided against that adventure.  We searched the interweb and discovered a gun/knife show in Indianapolis so we attended that.  He and I both picked up these 100th anniversary Case letter openers.  We were able to also acquire a couple of things for some collector friends in Texas and Kentucky via telephone calls and picture texts.  Ended up home, a steak dinner and a new to me slimline...Love my boys.

OH!  I like that letter opener I will have to start looking for one for my letter opener collection :)
