There is nothing dainty about these beasts from Leatherman so on yet another wet windy day downunder I've been experimenting with a Belt Carry option of my own design. So Far So Good...

I've worn it on my belt most of the day without my jeans dropping down around my ankles from the weight of this Big Boy :-)

That turned out very nice. Finish detailing is very clean and neat shows you care (too many don't).

Well done, Derek

That has to be one of the better ideas I have seen for this!  This tool is not one you want to be carrying around in your

pocket!

Thanks for your encouraging comments folks...  I was a little worried about how secure the clip would hold the pouch on my belt but ironically it is VERY secure; to the point its a bit of a wrestle to put in on and off ... but better that, than too loose.

I like a secure clip as well, but the thing is they will eat up a leather belt. So, don't wear it on your "Sunday" belt. I have "sprung" the big clips before and padded them with a leather sleeve, but it's tough to keep them snug enough to hold securely afterwards.

Pretty much quit using them for personal wear and went to a double flap snap loop arrangement. Don't have a pic right now, but these are very secure and don't mar up a nicely tooled belt. Will post a drawing of one when I get a chance to sketch one up.
