Whenever I'm deciding which of my EDC blades to take with me for the day I always have a hard time choosing. I always end up carrying more than one, Five to be exact. Does anyone else have a hard time deciding which knife to carry so you end up taking more than one? If so which two do you have the most trouble with deciding on?

I need to go back to carrying two knives. Or maybe it's just because I want to buy a Case Gent Swayback. LOL!

Did it again: Carried my Buck 110 in pouch, Kabar single blade, and my Case Blackhorn. 3 knives - 3 blades. Love em all.

Well, today I carried 3: My Case Canoe, Case Caliber, and my Kershaw

Kershaw Tanto Blur...

Great little knife! I keep mine in my Bug Out Bag. It's easily one of the sharpest knives I own! Thanks for reminding me where mine is!

Very nice Kershaws guys!

Either a Paramilitary 2 or Griptilian clipped to my front jeans pocket, and a Delica, Bone Collector, or Sowbelly inside my pocket. Plus a Leatherman lives in my car. There are others but these are the main knives to rotate. Sometimes a third knife but usually two fit my daily needs. And when I am bored I just grab one or two and get to sharpening them.

I carry more than one. There is a couple of reasons. First, I like to have the most effective or appropriate knife for the job and since you don't know what you will need to cut I usually have between 3 and 5 knives. Second, I bought the dang things. I might as well carry and use them. :) Today I carried a Queen small lockblade, A.G. Russell 3 5/8" (closed) Gunstock, Spyderco Bradley Folder, Chaparral 2 and Manbug. I just put a new handle on my Spyderco Dragonfly 2 so it will replace the Chaparral tomorrow. The rest will probably remain. WAIT! I forgot to mention the Opinel #6.

I always have my spyderco military on me along w my mini knife necklace. Also I keep a spyderco honeybee on my keys. As for fixed blades, I choose differently from day to day really depends on where I may go or the tasks I may have in store for my day. In my utility pouch I have a Letherman squirt and pliers are used mostly on this. Each tool has certain tasks and this is why I carry multiple blades as my edc choices.

Yes, two at the very least. Four or five on some days.

I carry quite a few, at least 5! CRKT m16 with veff serrated edge, a large Kershaw folder that I don't know the name of because it was a gift and i can't seem to find it anywhere online or in a store, Gerber paraframe, mini Gerber multi tool, another tiny Gerber framelock, Benchmade knife i got lucky and found, Snap-on cheap knife that's actually super sharp outofbox, andsometimesasmall fixed blade Boker tree brand knife that my Grandpop gave me about 18 years ago, just started carrying(sometimes) a Smith and Wesson neck knife, and if I have my boots on(almost always) i have another snapon knife & and cheap mtech rescue folder. now, of course, if I'm going to the woods, I'll trade the small Boker fixed blade and a few of those folders in for a good Mora, out Marttiini, and my Esee 5 or Ontario SP46 for the heavier tasks that the woods may require! is that overboard? maybe? but ohwell, i have different knives for different purposes, as well as some redundancies in case of emergency i can better outfit a counterpart, or in case i lose one of my blades, i have plenty of extra on me to fill the gap(btw that whole losing a knife thing is not likely). and, i carry that many just because i love knives!
Hi. I carry 4 knives when I'm at work. I am a private Security officer in Florida. 3 are in my EDC bag. Which is only a few feet away. I have one on me, a Spyderco Para Military. Both on the job and off duty I carry a gun. The knife.... If you know what your doing...... Is an excellent non- lethal self defense tool. But, like most people I just love knives and use them 99.9999 percent of the time to do everyday things. It's amazing how useful a knife can be. That's why I have carried 1 since I was 12 yrs old.
I always carry two, a sak classic black on keychain and a primary in coin pocket or front pocket. Today mini punisher auto knife. The primary changes everyday with about 45 in regular rotation.
