Charles,

The 54's & the 53's are 4 1/4 long.
The 23's are 8.25" OAL Open (3.5" Blade)
The 36 is Closed length 4 1/4" with Width 1 1/8"

I tell you there are some beauties at TSA knives and he lists the # of knives in the run with the description. We have purchased many with less than 10 made in the run. If you click on his inventory list...Well this is how he puts it on his blog. Then you can go look at the knives.

"As it says, this shows my current Great Eastern Cutlery inventory. It's a pain to keep current, but I can't think of a better way to provide the most info possible to my customers. If you're not familiar with the page, check it out. It's arranged by trademark and then sorted by handle material. Also included are the serial numbers of the knives I had (shadowed in gold) and have on hand. The year / date on the far right indicates the production year. On most of the short run knives, I try to indicate that it's 1 of 5, etc. Once a knife is sold out, I delete the info from this page but I do keep an archive of "sold knives". When I remember, I also highlight the latest additions to the inventory in light blue to make it easier to spot them. "
I know about Greg, he is my hero, wrote this out, hopin he would jump in here and make a suggestion
My last knives were bought from Greg, so I'm sure my next one will come from there also. I am kinda
leaning towards a proto. As long as it is big and scarry
That is sooo funny. My nickname for Greg is superman. Do what I do just call him. Tell him you want an ugle frozen GEC. He picks out the best. Ask Greg about the orphan knives. Sometimes he will have 1 of 2 or 3. We bought a proto 2 weeks ago at the NKCA show from Ken Daniels IT IS WONDERFUL!!! The picture is here in the GEC in the discussion about the new book. Check it out and call Greg
Ray, you're in luck!!!!

If you're looking for a nice low run, check out the 23EC GEC River Blue's. I've got serial #'s 6 in both the single and the double blade. I bought all of them and the last I knew (haven't seen the final production totals for 2009), there were a total of 9 of the single blade and 6 of the two blade. Both were released in October of '09 but the two blade has '08 stamped blades in it.

Otherwise, keep watching. This is the time of year GEC starts running a few "Orphan Knives". They'll try to use up left over blades with last years date stamp and you can see some really short runs. They do the same thing with handle material. These "O.K." knives are always interesting!!!
Ray,

Let me know which one you decided on.

Charles,
Anyway you carry it work!!! Greg says we should all carry one. Donnie now has 30 now and Greg actually found one for him to USE. That was impressive. Is anyone else going to the Blade Show?
I am planning to go to the Remington show down to Seville Tenn. on the 3rd and 4th of July, going to take one of these 2006 Stag's, going to carry it in the tube, LOL, so I will be carrying a nice knive in my pocket
