Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hi everyone and welcome to our newest members,

Something we have not talked about lately is new aquisitions.  Tell us about your latest and greatest GEC.  Donnie bought me both the new 23's in the Beavertail (Worlds greatest husband by the way)  He got himself the newest 73 in Primitive bone.  THAT is a heck of a nice knife.

What have you gotten lately?

Just added a #65 Ben Hogan in Sambar to the list.

Nice choice Dana! Post some pics for us to enjoy when you have time. Which of your GEC's will be your EDC? May have to buy two of a pattern, one to collect and one to carry!

Tom, Well I'm thinking that most of what I do with them is light duty, I'll carry which ever one speaks out to me that day. Oh, I've decided to keep the #36 in burnt. It reminds me of my Magicians Russlocks (3). That is a knife that I bought repetitiously. 2 for display (one green side up, one red side up) and one for EDC

I've been eyeing GEC knives for ages, but since getting the iKC knife I just gad to get another one. So I ordered me a #12 Powderhorn Northfield from TSAknives and it arrived today. Now if only I could find a way to capture that gorgeous white pearl in a photo.........

Alexander, NICE photo.

Thats gorgeous Alexander.

You picked a beautiful knife and an extremely useable pattern. One of my favorites for sure, it's a great way to get into GEC.

Nice one Alexander! I like the Powderhorn alot - it fits better in my hands than the standard #12 Toothpick. I was never a #12 fan before I read Johnny's posts and then I really went off the deep end! THANKS JOHNNY!

Speaking of going off the deep end...I just posted some pics of a few new additions that showed up at my doorstep on my page/GEC photo album #4. Darn mailman won't quit bringing these GEC's! You guys are a bad influence on me I think! May be about time for an intervention - just gave me an idea for a new reality show....Here are a couple new ones that I enjoyed...

Tom, I really like that #26 with the clip blade. It looks like Mammoth Ivory to me, I love it.

Great snags!!!

Thanks Johnny!

I wish that the spear blade #26 was more like the clip. Lots of character in the clip.

Thats primitive bone, correct???

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
