Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Thought I would get this thread started with who will be there?  Donnie and I will be leaving Tampa on July 25, 2011.  This should put us in Titusville PA by the 27th.  Now the open house is on Friday July 29th and 30th.   The area is just plain beautiful and there are lots of things to do while there.  Over the next few weeks I'll add some of the knife opportunites in the area and some area information but I'd really like to know....Will you meet us there?

and sometimes you just want to hang out on the porch

Awesome pics, I love the fact that the people over at GEC are just like you and me, they work hard, and some times they just want to go out and get some fresh air. They have no problem with standing there and having a conversation. Once gain, I get that hometown feel, but it's not just the knives.

I agree Johnny.  One of the things I love about this company is the people involved.  Everyone at the factory makes you feel like part of the family when you stop by.  But that also includes all the nice folks I have met here at the GEC blog on IKC.  We have met so many friends here, I can't wait to see you all at the Rendevous
I will be there, only live 30 miles away...

Jack,

Thats is wonderful.  I know that the Queen show is the same weekend but if you could share anything in the area you think our members would like to visit while they are there, please do.  We are staying in Erie this year.  Never been there and figured there would be some nice territory and maybe some antique places to stop in between

And in the store you will find many beauties.  Some short runs and some test runs may show up.  Always a great selection and good prices.

Oh man.....and here I am stuck in the desert.

I hope you'll keep us up to date like you did at the Blade Show.

That was fun.

Dave,

I will certainly be doing the story from PA just as I did from the Blade.  It will be fun being able to put some faces to our fellow knife enthusists here.  Also it is Case's first road trip so ya'll will have to hear about that too.

Have fun and post lots of pictures.

Jan;

I have toured the plant but never attended the rendevous. Unfortunately work responsabilities will keep me from attending again this year.

Please tell  Pat Vroman that Tim Cassani from Curbell Plastics says hello.

Tim C

Tim,

I will be sure to do that, sorry you cant make it.  Watch here...I love to take you all along with me on knife trips

Guess where I was today, Jan. :)
