I have just been looking at the 2013 production totals Jan. I have a question that hopefully one of our resident experts can answer,

Oil Sucker Rod Wood 3 pcs. serialized ???

What on earth is it and has anyone seen such a handle material, even more important has anyone got any pics .

Well I saw no reference to Germany produced Northfields but there is a reference worth looking at.  1884-1890 Northfield used the Excelsior Cutlery Company name as a subsidiary in their business.  Modern Excelsiors are made in Germany

Ivars, I just saw this.  I will do some research in the Tidoute book by David Anthony today for you and see if Germany was stamped on those originals.  I have seen many of them but never one in this pristine condition nor with the German stamp
