Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

So, the shotgun is one of the most versatile weapons of any age. At one time it was the do all hunting weapon. It was the rifle, it was the shotgun and it was used to put all the food on the table for many a family. A little double ought buck took out many a deer back before the Rifle was so easily afforded, not to mention the ammo prices. It has gone to the way side in some ways, but the shotgun has and always will be a perfect small game getter.

Here is the one I have right now.

Thanks Miss Jan, that's my little darling. That gun feeds my family, my girls love it. It has a gold feather enletted on it.

Very nice!

Thanks Steve, do ya'll shoot a shot gun over there. Since I have become a little disabled, I shoot the shot gun alot more because my aim is not what it once was. That coyote running in an open feild though, I'll roll everytime. I ,might be off an inch one way are the other but I'll roll him everytime. Here in Cajun country alot of us started shooting and hunting at very early ages. I can see different areas hunt and shoot different than here. It's all good though, shooting is a good hobby. I have a cousin that is into competistion Air Rifle shooting.

Robert, thats a beauty and I bet it's probably taken a nice verity of game.

A shotgun is a lot of fun to shoot. I use one to scare chicken hawks off. Oh it just makes a big noise and scares varmints off! Ever so often I hit one! LOL

This is the only shotgun I have left. After returning from duty I stopped hunting. After I became ill I sold all but my home defense shot gun,my Mossberg Persuader 8 rd pump. I set this piece up for home invasion and checking some property I own in what has become a bad area. Not that I would defend the property for someones life, but to save my butt. Anyway I have a problem with my shoulder and had to go to this chicken head grip. This grip lets the arm take the recoil instead of the wrist like most pistol grips and makes your shots quiet accurate with practice. Here's some pics.

I've never even thought to take pics of my guns, Johnny, but I was wondering if this would quailify?

It's a .45/410 side by-side pistol.  Saw one like it on a trip to Kentucky some years back.  Thought that it was a fun little gun to show along with my Stevens side-by.

Looks good to me Guy.

I don't mind that grip as a home defense gun.

Nice JJ
