Cool! Looks like me and my kids! My favorite.....Mattel Shootin' Shell Fanner Cap Gun! Talk about politically incorrect in today's world! People of today would have put us all in jail or sent us to therapy! LOL!

You bring back a lot of memories to me.  I don't remember the brand but I had cap pistols as a kid.  We would play cowboys and indians.  If we wanted to make a really big bang, we would take a whole roll of caps and hit it with a hammer!  If I remember right there were 50 caps on a roll.  A box of five rolls was a nickel.  Of course a nickel back then was just about equivalent to a dollar now.  Back then soda pop was a nickel, also ice cream cones and candy bars.  There was one candy bar (Full Dinner?) that was three cents.  And i could buy three nickel bars for a dime.  I had a lucrative business going.  The school was close to the little village.  I would walk down to the store during lunch and buy candy bars three for a dime.  Then sell them to the other kids at school for a nickel a piece.  That is til the school shut down my business.  Man, you can't get away with a thing when your mother is assistant principal!
