These 3 Schrades are the  only canoes I have. The scrimshaw was made between 1979-82, the stag in 1981 and the  3 blade canoe in 1979. The 3 blade canoe originally had a MAC TOOLS etch on both sides of the main blade. I bought the knife to put in my white bone collection. Not being a Mac Tools enthusiast, I removed the etch using 600 grit wet dry sandpaper. Schrade bought the Sheffield factory in 1977. Schrade I-XL's were made there until 1982.

Here's my first Canoe, a Colt with Genuine Stag handles. Always wanted a Canoe, but didn't want to buy a pricey new US-made knife & then get buyer's remorse. Alas I love it! Perfect front pocket carry size, not a flaw anywhere and sharp as a razor.
