I wanted to add a custom touch to my CRKT Lift Off, so I made a set of scales using some small pieces of plum wood that I had from a tree I removed from the yard several years ago. It's my first attempt at scale replacement, so the results aren't perfect, but it has a good look and feel to it and I'm currently packing it along as my EDC.
